Replacing the Air Vent
-
Safety Precautions
Before starting maintenance, it is necessary to:
- Turn off the boiler power.
- Drain the water from the boiler.
-
Access to the Air Vent
- The air vent is located inside the boiler, so the front panel must be removed to access it.
- Be careful not to damage the cables connected to the front panel.
- Disconnect the control display and grounding cable connected to the front panel.
-
Locating the Air Vent
The boiler is equipped with a European-made air vent located at the top of the boiler above the heating element. During operation, the air vent may fail due to poor heat carrier quality, leading to two main problems:
- Leakage of the heat carrier through the air vent.
- The air vent does not release air from the boiler.
-
Replacing the Air Valve
If the air valve fails, follow these steps to replace it:
- Remove the transparent drain tube from the air valve.
- Unscrew the faulty air vent.
- Install the new air vent in its place.
- Connect the transparent drain tube to the new air vent.
-
Starting the Boiler
- Fill the boiler with the heat carrier.
- Perform the air removal procedure from the boiler using service parameters P1 and P3.
