Connecting the Boiler to the Heating System
-
Orientation of Supply and Return Pipes
- Please note that when installing the boiler, it is necessary to follow the order of connecting the supply and return pipes to the heating system.
- The heat carrier outlet from the boiler (supply to the heating system) is located on the left side.
- The heat carrier inlet to the boiler (return from the heating system) is located on the right side.
-
Installation of Coarse Filter
When installing the boiler, it is essential to install a coarse filter and two valves (valve – filter – valve) at the boiler inlet to protect the internal boiler components from debris entering from the heating system.
-
Removal of Plastic Filter
- Please note! If a coarse filter is installed at the boiler inlet in the heating system, the boiler’s own plastic filter (included in the boiler package) located in the right inlet pipe can be removed.
- Removing the boiler’s own plastic filter (only if a coarse filter is installed in the heating system) will increase the heat carrier’s flow capacity through the boiler and will not void the manufacturer’s warranty.
-
Use of Shut-Off Valves and Union Nuts
It is recommended to install two shut-off valves (one on each boiler pipe) and use union nuts for convenient connection and maintenance of the boiler.
-
Filling the Heating System with Heat Carrier and Refill
It is recommended to include a fill pipe (with a valve) and a refill system for the heat carrier in the heating system design.
-
Checking the Pipe System
- We also recommend checking the pipe system for leaks before putting the boiler into operation.
- Ensure the selected pipe diameters are appropriate and the system allows continuous air removal.
