Connecting the mobile application to the boiler

  • Preparation

    1. Connect the boiler to the power supply and turn it on.
    2. Enable Wi-Fi and location services on your smartphone.
    3. Ensure that the boiler’s Wi-Fi network “Tasmota_(number)” appears as a new network in your Wi-Fi settings. If this network is marked as previously used, remove it from the list by selecting “Remove Network” or “Forget Network”.
    4. Download the TEKNIX Smart Boiler app from the Play Market or AppStore. You can also scan the left QR code on the boiler’s information sticker to download the app.
  • Registration in the App

    1. Install the app and register by entering your phone number. 
    2. Enter the verification code received via SMS.
    3. Your phone number will serve as the login for connecting to the boiler.
  • Connecting the Boiler

    1. A field for scanning the QR code will appear on the screen. Scan the right QR code (with the serial number) on the boiler’s information sticker.
    2. Alternatively, press the “Enter Data Manually” button and enter the serial number manually.
  • Wi-Fi Setup

    ATTENTION! This setup is only for iOS smartphones

    1.  If Wi-Fi and location services were not previously enabled, do so and allow the app to use them.
    2. When connecting the phone to the boiler’s Wi-Fi module on iOS smartphones, a pop-up window with a dark background indicating the Tasmota_(number) network will appear during the Wi-Fi connection stage. Do not connect to it.
    3. In the upper left corner of the dark screen, select “Cancel”.
    4. At the bottom center of the pop-up window with the dark background, select “Use Without Internet”. 
    5. The dark screen should close, and a window for selecting the “home Wi-Fi network” should appear in its place.
  • Connecting the Boiler to the Home Wi-Fi Network

    1. Select your home Wi-Fi network from the list and enter the password (the same one you provide to guests).
    2. Wait for the boiler to fully connect to the internet. This process may take a few minutes.
  • Disconnecting the Smartphone from Control

    1. If you want to change the user, go to the Settings section in the upper right corner of the menu.
    2. Select the “Reset Wi-Fi Module Settings” option and wait for the notification “Enter Phone Number”. 
    3. Following the instructions, set up the app on another device. 
    4. Done! Now a new user or device can connect to the boiler.

    ATTENTION! The app can only work on one smartphone at a time.
